Giving back to your community is easier than you think, but we have to be mindful of how we carry out our good intentions to ensure we don’t hurt anyone along the way. ReTurn initiatives are opportunities for both the diaspora and locals to work together to identify problems, outline needs and wants, and lead collaborative projects that seek to address those needs and wants.
ReTurn facilitates the initiatives in two ways:
-
We consult with both locals and diaspora to help them figure out exactly what initiative they want to spearhead or be a part of.
-
We pair diaspora with either ReTurn ambassadors or other vetted, trusted, and reliable locals to ensure that the work is carried out on the ground.
